The term Cleaning top to bottom is just that. Always Clean top to bottom letting the dust settle on the level below such as counter tops, lamps, end tables etc.. so always let the dust settle before you remove it from the level you are about to start. Same goes with the floor wait for dust to settle then clean up the floor level.

This is true...better to move the dust and the dump from top to the bottom and finally out.
This is true...this approach helps the dust and the dirt get out of the place easily and systematically.These are the good old tips that grandma passed down to us !!! and you are sharing them with all of us here.
